IHG Chongqing
Ce La Vi’s management have been working hard to expand their brand from a Singapore concept with a Hong Kong outpost, and take it further across Asia. The group want to expand into other gateway cities, but start doing things on the same scale as their iconic, flagship venue in Singapore.
Chongqing is the answer to this ambition. With a show stopping location at the famous Raffles City, a mega-development also designed by Marina Bay Sands’ architect Moshe Safdie, the venue’s bones are in good hands.
Chongqing will feature the signature Ce La Vi reds and spectacular outdoor terrace views of the mountains and rivers of Chongqing.
Inside, the venue houses a 16m high, domed glass ceiling with trees growing in the space underneath. Given the nature of this incredible structure, no lights were able to be efixed to it. As a creative work around, we designed the bar to host a spectacular central lighting feature that ties in with the arborist theme.
In addition to these show stopping open spaces, three private dining rooms boast views of the Yangtze river and offer guests a more intimate experience.
