No amount of imagery or number of stories could ever depict the beauty, joy and hospitality that is Rajasthan. People have tried to recreate the intricate details through restoration of portraits, paintings, and architecture, but they’re often covering up the heart of Rajasthan; its history, personality and raw beauty.

At Fort Barwara’s 48-suite Luxury Heritage Spa & Resort, we enhance this history, fill in the gaps and encourage the imagination. We challenge what is deemed ‘luxury’ by creating a multi-sensory experience, for our guests to reflect on the rich history of the state. We hint to the opulence of the past and create moments of surprise and excitement to bring it back to life.

When people visit Fort Barwara they will have many cues to stop, reflect and smile as they catch their breath experiencing the incredible scenery and heritage surroundings over the rolling hills and to the ‘Pink City’ beyond.

Our design has been inspired by Indian moments, such as the moment we experienced a resident monkey watching us from the top window inside the double treatment room prior to renovation; an elephant strolling down the freeway; and a local man riding his camel and cart.

Fort Barwara also offers multiple dining options, including All Day Dining, Specialty Restaurant, Library Lounge and Look Out Bar; a full spa and wellness offering across multiple heritage buildings; a ballroom, retail, kids’ and young adults’ clubs and extensive outdoor retreat spaces.

Fort Barwara has been listed as one of Forbes’ ‘Most Anticipated Luxury Hotel Openings’ the past two years and is currently shortlisted for the AHEAD Asia Awards 2022.
