Bon Bon Cafe by Angelo Musa
“Early in my career, I realized that taste was all about revealing emotions, while texture is the embodiment of the soul of a dessert. The way each texture is worked will bring out the quintessence of taste, becoming fundamental to my pastry. The richness of the composition raises the questioning of the purpose, arrangement and harmony of each texture with the others. The power of your dessert shall emerge from the relevance given to textures.”

The French Riviera is known for its casual elegance. Many a traveller is drawn to the beautiful Côte d’Azur to soak up the relaxed, breezy lifestyle. There is a certain vintage charm that brings to mind imagery of Breton stripes, cropped trousers, basket bags, and straw boaters that Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, and Brigitte Bardot wore. It represents a joyful lifestyle – things are supposed to be delightful and there are few things as delightful as a coffee and a beautiful pastry while watching the world go by.
Dubai is a melting pot of culture, from the intrinsic Emirati culture, to the 200 plus other nationalities who call Dubai home. In only half a century they have grown from a nomadic environment to one of the most prominent cities in the world, with no indication of slowing down. The glamorous lifestyle has always been recognised, but it has grown from being a replica of cities around the world, to an incubator of new ideas and ventures. Coffee culture offers a common ground between everyone who lives here – from the early risers who start their day with a coffee to those who like to end the day with it.
Bon Bon Cafe personifies where the French Riviera meets Emirati life.
